WEST CALDWELL TWP. Construction crews are set to break ground this spring on a new adult community called The Villas, located at 475 Passaic Ave.
“The Villas at West Caldwell will provide active adults an exciting new option for upscale living,” said Andrew Abramson, president and CEO of the Value Companies, Inc. “We expect this neighborhood will have strong appeal to those seeking to remain close to northern New Jersey’s convenient surroundings and friends and family in the area.”
The Villas at West Caldwell will accept active adults age 55 and older. Homes will be situated in a two-story elevator building with covered parking. There will be an additional 65 surface parking spaces.
During the initial phase, two-bedroom homes with oversized floor plans that range from 1,200 to 1,500 square-feet will be built.
On-site amenities at The Villas will include a clubroom, fitness center and outdoor patio area.
“Each floor plan will provide expansive and welcoming living areas comparable to those found in condominiums and townhomes to create a comfortable and luxurious lifestyle,” Abramson said.
Initial monthly rents are expected to begin in the mid-$2,000s.
